LEANN WOOTEN
Leann Wooten has been creating mixed media art most of her life, she studied art at the
University of Nebraska then continued independent study of mosaic art in Mexico, Italy
and Spain.
Leann has served on the faculty and board for the Chicago Mosaic School, and is a
current member of Society of American Mosaic Artists. She also works in the community
with many non-profit organizations helping children creating murals in the Milwaukee
Public School systems and beyond. She also teaches classes and workshops around the
city and out of her personal studio.
As an award winning artist, she has exhibited both locally and internationally and has
studied with many international masters of mosaic to broaden her skills and technique.
Leann has designed many commercial and residential mosaic installations and has been
featured in Milwaukee Home and Fine Living Magazine, Dallas Urban Living Magazine,
Milwaukee Sentinel, Dallas Morning News.
